Product Sprints
Keep shipping on a live product: senior product leadership and a build team, in two-week cycles.
01 · The problem
What this actually solves
Between 5 and 25 people, product momentum stalls. The founder can't cover the surface area, it's too early for a R1.5m+ head of product, and engineers build from a Slack backlog that changes weekly. Good developers quietly lose faith in the roadmap, and the product drifts sideways instead of forward.
02 · The approach
How it works
I embed as your product lead in two-week cycles: running discovery and prioritisation, writing the specs, and shipping, with my engineering network as extra build capacity whenever your team needs it. Every cycle ends with something in production and a roadmap that can defend itself.
You get senior product judgement and real delivery on your live product, plus the systems (prioritisation, cadence, specs) that outlast me. When you're ready for a full-time PM, I help you hire and hand over working machinery, not a cold start.
03 · Questions
What founders ask
- Why sprints instead of hiring a full-time PM?
- Speed and risk. A head-of-product hire takes 3–6 months and is expensive to get wrong. Sprints get you senior product leadership and build capacity in a week, and convert naturally: I help you hire the full-timer when the surface area justifies it, and hand over working systems.
