Product Strategy Sprint

The fast, opinionated strategy that leads into a build, not a 60-page deck.

01 · The problem

What this actually solves

Most 'product strategy' problems are really clarity problems in a suit. The vision lives in the founder's head, the roadmap is a list of requests, and every planning meeting relitigates the same three arguments. And a strategy that never turns into a build is just an expensive opinion: the deck gets applause, then nothing ships.

02 · The approach

How it works

In one to two weeks we get to a strategy you can act on. I pressure-test your assumptions against your numbers and a handful of customer conversations, name the two or three bets that actually matter, and say plainly what you're not doing. Short enough to read in one sitting; opinionated enough to settle arguments when I'm gone.

Then it points somewhere. Every strategy sprint ends with a call on what to build first, and a straight route into a Proof of Concept or MVP Build if you want to keep moving. Not a document that dies in a drive: a plan wired to a next step.

What founders ask

What's the difference between a product strategy and a roadmap?
A strategy is the argument; a roadmap is the schedule that follows from it. Strategy decides which two or three bets matter and what you're not doing; the roadmap sequences the work that serves those bets. A roadmap without a strategy behind it is just a list of requests in date order, which is exactly why they get relitigated every planning meeting.
How much does product strategy consulting cost?
The Product Strategy Sprint is a fixed project price, quoted after a short scoping call; you'll have a number within 48 hours, no drawn-out proposal. It's deliberately the smallest, cheapest way to work with SILC, because it's the on-ramp: most clients run a sprint, then decide whether to continue into a Proof of Concept or MVP Build.
Do I need a strategy sprint before an MVP build?
Not always. If you already know exactly what to build and why, we can go straight to a Proof of Concept or MVP Build. The strategy sprint is for when the idea is still fuzzy, the roadmap has stalled, or the team can't agree on what comes first. It's the cheapest way to buy that clarity before you spend a build budget.
